As someone who has found fitness later in life and who has earned my own personal training certification, I am very grateful to have met and worked with Farzin.  Farzin is a life long athlete who embraces health at every level mentally and physically and is a true expert in functional fitness.  He is extremely thoughtful in the workout regiment he designs for each person and is very knowledgable and a great teacher in doing exercises the right way.  I'm very impressed with his level of understanding and instruction.  Knowing I have one body to live my life, working with Farzin assures me that I'll be living a healthy and strong one.

I just completed the 7 Day Fitness Retreat in Maui.  It was more than I could have ever hoped for and then some.  Not only did it focus on physical fitness but also addressed clean eating and mental health as well.  As someone who has been exercising for the majority of my life, this was a huge awakening to key elements I was missing not only in my routines but in my life in general.  

     The group workouts were just difficult enough to challenge you without going overboard.  The personal sessions were just that.  Very specific to my personal goals.  Farzin is a genius at reading people and knows just how much to push you to get significant results.  As a person in general, he brings out the best in everyone he is around....

Since my 24 week training program of strength and cardio, I have reduced my weight starting from 191 lbs. to 174 lbs. with only four more to meet my goal. I look forward to the weekly session with Farzin and his motivational, energizing, encouraging approach to training especially for someone at my age.

Farzin is a perfect trainer for me with his knowledge of how muscles react, nutritional information and what equipment at Snap is most beneficial to me, constantly changing and improving my program to fit my body changes At his strong suggestion, I work out 6 days a week and have cut out all sugar and processed food and have seen noticeable results.

On March 15th 2014 I weighed in at 250-lbs.  I was lethargic, complacent and my diet was very poor.  I started working out on my own, doing mostly cardio and was able to shed around 30-lbs. Then I plateaued. In January 2015 I suffered a “traumatic leg injury” breaking both my tibia and fibula playing ice hockey when an opponent dove/fell into my leg while we were both skating at top speed. The injury required surgery to implant a titanium rod in my leg as well as a follow up knee surgery months later due to complications. I lost most of the range of motion and a significant decrease in strength in my knee and ankle as well as decline in my overall physical abilities.

Going to physical therapy twice a week wasn’t enough to get me back on the ice. Once I was cleared to work out again I began working with Farzin, as a way to supplement my physical therapy. We started out working out in a pool, as I was unable to apply a lot of weight on my injured leg....

Prior to personal training with Farzin, I was haphazard with my workout routine.  I would be committed to visiting the gym for a few weeks, followed by a season of inactivity.   I never seemed to be able to stay in rhythm, often becoming bored with my workout options.  

However, Farzin has changed my outlook on fitness.  Thanks to his techniques I’m continuing to maintain the longest active stretch of my adult life.  Every session is different, giving me the variety that I need to stay interested.   Whether it be indoors or outdoors, the assortment of exercises is ever changing.   I appreciate the variation and the personalization he gives to each one of my workout sessions....

I had topped the scale at 412 pounds before I started working with Farzin. I know I was heavier than that but there was no scale that would record my weight. I was morbidly obese. I was sick, out of shape, depressed, and getting fatter… I joined the gym where I met a personal trainer named Farzin. He became my mentor, advisor, health and weight guide. These pictures don’t tell the whole story.  When I met Farzin almost 2 years ago I was depressed, unhappy and unmotivated to do anything to change my situation. My sister pushed me to at least meet with Farzin and talk about training with him.  After an hour talking to him and listening to what he said I decided to try – what did I have to lose?  When I started I could barely walk a block without my hip or back hurting nor could I walk up a flight of stairs without becoming winded.  We started slowly at first.  He taught me proper technique using the equipment, how to breathe while doing exercises, and set up a routine for me that changed as I made progress.  Everything was designed for me and my abilities at the time.  Over time Farzin started...
